merchandise order form

Several of you have asked how the team is doing regarding water bottle and towel sales, where to turn the $ in, or how to get the merchandise if a team member has sold some, and now wants to deliver it. We currently have 183 water bottles (had purchased 250), and 41 towels (had purchased 75). Ya’ll are doing an awesome job selling the merchandise, but we still have a ways to go!!!!

Coach Davies gave each swimmer an order form for the merchandise. The form is also available from the "merchandise order form" above, and also on the most recent Chlorine Chronicles for your swimmer to download. I also have a requisition form, so if your swimmer wants to take some water bottles/towels to sell to neighbors, family and friends, and collect the money at the same time, that’s possible as well. Just call/text me 512-608-7075 or e-mail me Once your swimmer is done selling the merchandise, he/she can bring me the $ and any unsold items. I will turn all the money into our wonderful treasurer, Lynn Cronin!!

We will be selling our merchandise Saturday, November 15th from 10:00-2:00 in the Holiday Faire in Steiner Ranch. We are hoping to get into the Cups and Cones Holiday Event this Saturday, November 1st, to sell the merchandise as well! If we do get in, we will need volunteers throughout that day. Keep an eye out for Sign Up Genius e-mails, to volunteer for all our events!


For those of you who have purchased the spirit jerseys, they were shipped to Austin last Friday. We should be able to pick them up from our vendor within the next couple of days and distribute them to the swimmers after practice this week. The car decals are here as well, and will be distributed with the spirit jerseys. Feel free to e-mail or text me if you have any questions about your apparel. We still have some unclaimed dry land shirts by the way.

Bed Sheets

Sheet Sale Folders went home with all the swim & dive athletes the week of 10/20. They each received a folder with an info sheet, cash/check envelope, sample fabric, and order form.

GOAL: Every athlete sells 10 sets of sheets (i.e.: find 5 people to buy 2 sets each - then ask them if they'd like extra pillow cases and you've EXCEEDED the goal!)

**Please know that this is our BIGGEST fundraising opportunity that we ALL need to participate in. Sheet sales can gross the team thousands of dollars and can provide the financial resources we need to fulfill our Coaches vision and goals for our team.

Here's the info from the sheet inside their folders:
  • Order Deadline: Nov 21
  • Sheets will be delivered first week of December in time for holidays!
  • Order Form
    Start selling now! Double-check the color and size. Please note that they are offering 5 colors in the twin size! (We do NOT sell California King or Extra-Long Twin sizes.) We accept cash or check and they must pay when ordering. There is a place on the order form to take any monetary donations. If they are not interested in ordering sheets, ask them if they would like to make a donation to the VHS Swim/Dive Team.
  • Turning in Order Forms & Money
    Please bring all order forms and money to morning swim practice on Thursday and Friday, November 20th & 21sth. Turn in order forms & money ONLY to the designated parent (ie: not your coach or fellow swimmers :))
  • Delivery of Sheets
    The sheets will be delivered to VHS and need to picked up the same day they are delivered. We will email you and have captains text you as soon as we know that date. Note: it is usually not a great deal of advance notice. When you deliver sheets, BE SURE TO INCLUDE the “Thank you for supporting VHS Swim/Dive Booster” note and REORDER information as many customers enjoy the sheets so much they want additional ones – easy sale for you and good money for team!
  • Reorders
    If you are new to sheet sales, you will find that oddly enough, people want more! They love these sheets. Many will want more so we provide an opportunity to reorder. You must turn in reorders by February 13. These orders will be delivered to team the last week of February.

The Team Breakfast last Friday was a GREAT SUCCESS!! Thank you to all the volunteers that cooked and contributed to the breakfast ... and to Shannon Sanders, Debbie Donahue, Toni Feroce and Myra Roberts for setting up, serving and staying to clean up!!!! You were very much appreciated!! The swimmers had a very healthy and hearty delicious breakfast, after winning the Round Rock Meet the day before!!!! And a huge thanks goes to Kelly Arnold and Danilo Feroce for being our fantastic timers throughout the entire meet!!

Viper 10,000 Friday, November 14th is just around the corner, and there will be another Team Breakfast after they swim their 400 laps!!! For those of you who didn’t get a chance to sign up for the breakfast last week, here’s your chance. The volunteer information will be on Sign up Genius! And this is also a reminder for your swimmers to be collecting lots of donations $$$$ for their intense swim!!!
